William The Conqueror defeated King Harold at the Battle of Hastings in 1066 when we had an undisputed champ?
The last time we had an undisputed heavyweight champion The Duke of Normandy (William The Conqueror or William I) defeated King Harold Godwinsen (Harold II) at the Battle of Hastings in 1066 which occurred one month after Harold beat Hardrda at the Battle of Stamford Bridge and the Battle of Hastings being depicted on the Bayeux Tapestry with Halley's Comet and Harold II and Edward The Confessor and all that, the Bayeux Tapestry being commissioned by William's half brother Bishop Odo, William commissioned the Domesday Book in 1086 and commissioned the Tower of London in 1078 and then the Plantagenets Richard The Lionheart fought Saladin during the Crusades in 1193 before there was a King's Ransom for Richard in 1194 before dying in 1199 and Richard's brother John ascending the throne and sealing the Magna Carta (great charter in Latin) at Runnymede in 1215 and John losing the Crown Jewels crossing the wash before dying in 1216 lol. Okay it hasn't been that long but it has been a long time since we had an undisputed heavyweight champion.
