Did I break my car door?

It was freezing last night and this morning still and the door was frozen shut. It took some effort but I got it open and then put the car on to warm it up and closed the door and locked it up. When I went back out there it took a bit to pull it open again but now it won't shut. I tried everything! Could it be frozen on the inside or did I break it somehow? It's a Ford Explorer.
