Should I accept a 5 year old female Akita?

My uncle is a dog breeder. He has won numerous awards in many countries. He has decided to stop breeding Akitas to focus in Doberman Pincher and Boxers. His last Akita, female and mother of some champions in my country, is 5 year old. He knows that I was looking for an Akita puppy from a reputable breeder. He insist I should not buy a god, and that I should take his dog. I told him that I have a chihuahua, a pomeranian and a 9 year old male Akita. An Akita puppy would be easy to adapt, but a 5 year old female Akita is another story. He insist that her temperament is marvelous and that she does not do anything, that I should take it. If I have any problem with her, that I giver her back to him. What do you guys think? Also, I am worried because I do not think I can keep that dog as beautiful as he keeps her.
