Why is it that when a team wins a super bowl, they are champions of the previous year?
like the Giants being the 2007 champs, even though they won in 2008, saints winning the 2009 championship but actually winning in 2010, etc.. What is considered correct saying the saints won it in 2009, or that they won in 2010?
