Are there any add ons i could put on my 99 ford taurus to improve mpg?

In the past I owned 6 Taurus's and drove many more in my 25 years in Ford sales. I got around 20 MPG around the city and 28 MPG on the highway. If you are getting much less have a certified tech check it out to find out why.
