Is there a temorary hitch for a 2007 Ford Escape?

I'm moving from Ohio to PA...just wondering if there is a temporary hitch for a 2007 Ford Escape 4 Cylinder if that matters...I don't have the thing on my bumper for the ball so is there another way? If so who can I rent it from? Thanks!
